Who We Are
Awareness Cambodia is a not-for-profit overseas aid organisation partnering with local communities to support some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in Cambodia.
With the generosity of supporters around the world, we raise awareness and funds for life-changing programmes led by our in-country team, Awareness Cambodia International.
For more than 25 years, Awareness Cambodia has helped vulnerable children and young people move from poverty and hardship toward education, leadership, professional careers, and long-term opportunity.
Our Current Project: 10 Doors Campaign
Awareness Cambodia’s Education Programmes lie at the heart of our mission to end the generational poverty tethering many rural families.
10 Doors aims to fund full university scholarships for 10 students – covering both tuition, accomodation, mentoring, educational resources, and living expenses through Graduation House and the University Scholarship Programme.
Each ‘door’ opened represents more than access to university: it represents opportunity, dignity, leadership development and the chance to help shape Cambodia’s future.
Our Students
Sovannari has completed her Masters Degree in Public Law Administration. She recently married and has now relocated to Europe. Her educational journey reflects the long-term impact of sustained support, mentorship, and opportunity.
Tay is currently in his third year studying International Relations and hopes to pursue a future career connected with diplomatic or embassy work representing Cambodia internationally.
Koy is in his fourth year studying Civil Engineering, with a strong interest in Construction Management. He has already commenced part-time work with an international construction company while completing his studies – an exciting example of the professional pathways now opening for Awareness Cambodia students and graduates.
